PTA Registration Form
Thank you for your interest in the GiveBack campaign, sponsored by KentuckyBizBuzz.com. This unique fundraising program is designed to support Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs), throughout Kentucky. The “GiveBack” program will make donations to PTAs in exchange for reviews of local businesses written by consumers on KentuckyBizBuzz.com.
PTAs will receive $1.00 for each review, and will be eligible to earn a maximum donation of $1,000. PTAs must earn a minimum of $50 before the conclusion of the GiveBack program in order receive their donation.
In order to participate in the “Give Back” program, PTAs must complete a simple registration form to confirm their eligibility. Click here to access that form. The program is open to all tax-exempt PTAs in Kentucky. Eligible organizations must be certified as Section 501(c)(3) according to the Internal Revenue Code.
Consumers may review up to 25 businesses for each PTA as part of the “Give Back” program. Each time they post a review, they will select which PTA will receive the corresponding $1.00 donation. If a consumer has not already created an account on KentuckyBizBuzz.com, they will need to complete a simple registration form in order to post reviews. Only reviews written between April 15 and May 31, 2009 will be eligible for the “Give Back” program.
Consumers must write reviews of local businesses to participate in the “Give Back” program. Reviews of national chains, such as Target or Starbucks, will not earn donations. The “Give Back” program is designed to generate reviews of service businesses and professionals. To encourage feedback on a wide range of businesses, reviews of restaurants and bars are not eligible for the “Give Back” program.
The program is scheduled to end on May 31, 2009. Participating PTAs will receive their donations within a month of the conclusion of the “Give Back” program.
